BulkEmailr.com uses affiliate links. When you click a link to a software product on this site and sign up or make a purchase, we may earn a commission from that company. This costs you nothing extra. Our reviews and ratings are based on honest research; affiliate relationships do not influence them.
BulkEmailr.com is an independent review and comparison site for email marketing software, run by Craig Leontowicz. We publish reviews, head-to-head comparisons, alternatives lists, and buying guides to help marketers, small business owners, and developers choose the right email tools for their needs.
We operate as an independent publication. No software company pays us to publish positive reviews, and no company can purchase a favourable rating. However, we do participate in affiliate programs, meaning we earn commissions when our readers choose to purchase certain products through our links.
This disclosure exists because we believe in full transparency. Under FTC guidelines (USA), the EU Consumer Rights Directive, the UK Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations, and equivalent laws in Canada, Australia, and other countries, we are required to disclose this relationship clearly. We also believe it is simply the right thing to do.
When you click an outbound link from BulkEmailr.com to a software product (for example, a link to MailerLite, Klaviyo, or ActiveCampaign), that link may contain a tracking code that identifies us as the referring source.
If you then:
...we may receive a commission from the company you signed up with. The commission structure varies by company and may be a flat fee per referral, a percentage of the first payment, or a recurring percentage of subscription fees for as long as you remain a customer.
At no point does this cost you anything extra. Affiliate prices are the same as going to a company's website directly. In some cases, our affiliate link may even provide you with a discount or extended trial that you would not receive otherwise.
We earn revenue from the following sources:
Affiliate Commissions
We participate in affiliate programs run directly by software companies and through networks such as ShareASale, Impact Radius, PartnerStack, Commission Junction (CJ), and others. We receive a commission when you purchase through our tracked links. Commission rates typically range from 15% to 40% of the sale value, or fixed bounties per referral.
Google AdSense Display Advertising
We display ads via Google AdSense. These ads are served by Google and may be targeted based on your browsing history and interests. We receive payment for impressions and clicks on these ads. We do not control which specific ads are displayed.
We do not currently accept sponsored posts, paid placements, or "pay to play" tool listings. A tool's presence on this site is not contingent on it having an affiliate program.
We take editorial independence seriously. Here is our commitment to you:
On BulkEmailr.com, most outbound links to software products are affiliate links. Rather than marking each individual link with a label (which we find clutters the user experience), we use the following approach:
If you are ever unsure whether a link is an affiliate link, you are welcome to check the URL before clicking (affiliate links typically include tracking parameters). Alternatively, you can always visit a software product's website directly by typing the URL into your browser.
This disclosure is made in compliance with the following regulations:
United States: FTC Endorsement Guidelines
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requires that material connections between endorsers and the companies whose products or services they endorse be clearly and conspicuously disclosed. Our affiliate relationships constitute such a material connection, and this disclosure satisfies that requirement. See the FTC Disclosures 101 guidance.
European Union: Consumer Rights Directive & GDPR
Under EU law, commercial communications must be clearly identifiable as such. This disclosure satisfies the transparency requirements under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, the Unfair Commercial Practices Directive, and applicable national implementing legislation. For data practices related to affiliate tracking cookies, please see our Privacy Policy.
United Kingdom: CAP Code & Consumer Protection Regulations
We comply with the UK's Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 and the CAP (Committee of Advertising Practice) Code. Affiliate content that constitutes a commercial communication is disclosed as such.
Canada: Competition Act & CASL
In Canada, the Competition Act and related guidance from the Competition Bureau require disclosure of material connections in endorsements. We comply with these requirements through this disclosure.
Australia: Australian Consumer Law (ACL)
The Australian Consumer Law prohibits misleading or deceptive conduct. We disclose our affiliate relationships in accordance with ACCC guidance on testimonials and endorsements to ensure our content is not misleading.
To give you an honest picture of how we arrive at our reviews and ratings:
We do not claim our reviews are infallible, as all subjective assessments have limitations. Our goal is to give you the most balanced, practical perspective we can, and to be upfront when something is our opinion versus an objective fact.
Our reviews and recommendations are based on our research and opinions at the time of publication. We make no guarantees that:
Always read the terms of any software product before subscribing, and verify pricing and features directly with the vendor.
